Abstrak :

Klasifikasi iklim telah dilakukan BMKG dengan Metode Oldeman periode 30 tahun (1981-2010) di Provinsi Riau. Hasil klasifikasi iklim di Provinsi Riau memiliki 5 tipe iklim yaitu B1, C1, C2, D1, E1. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan updating peta tipe iklim dengan Metode Oldeman periode 10 tahun (2009-2018). Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa Provinsi Riau memiliki 5 tipe iklim yaitu, B1, C1, D1, D2 dan E1. Setelah dilakukan updating peta tipe iklim dengan Metode Oldeman, ternyata terjadinya pergeseran tipe iklim di beberapa pos hujan. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa 71.42 % mengalami perubahan, dimana jumlah bulan basah cenderung berkurang. Kemudian dilakukan klasifikasi iklim dengan Metode SchmidtFerguson periode 10 tahun (2009-2018) di Provinsi Riau. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa 64.29% di Provinsi Riau termasuk tipe iklim sangat basah dan 35.71% termasuk tipe iklim basah. kata kunci : Iklim, Curah Hujan, Oldeman, Schmidt-Ferguson

Climate classification has been carried out by BMKG with the Oldeman method for a periode of 30 years (1980-2010) in Riau Province. The results of climate classification in Riau Province have 5 types of climate, namely B1, C1, C2, D1, E1. In this research, climate type update was carried out with the Oldeman method period of 10 year (2009-2018). The results of the study found that Riau Province has 5 types of climate namely, B1, C1, D1, D2 and E1. After updating the climate type map using Oldeman method, it turns out that there is a shift in climate type in some rain posts. The results showed that 71.42% experienced a change, amount wet months becomes reduced. Then the climate classification using the Schmidt-Ferguson Method for 10 years (2009-2018) in Riau Province. The results of this study found that in Riau Province 64.29% in Riau Province included a very wet climate type and 35.71% included a wet climate type.
