Abstrak :

Social support adalah bentuk penerimaan dari seseorang atau sekelompok orang terhadap individu yang merasakan bahwa dirinya disayangi, diperhatikan, dihargai, ditolong serta diberi dukungan baik itu dukungan emosional, instrumental, penghargaan, dan dukungan informasi. Quarter life crisis adalah masa kritis ketika seseorang merasa cemas dan gelisah karena mulai mempertanyakan arah dan tujuan hidupnya, pencapaian karir, peluang keuangan, persaingan yang meningkat diantara anggota tim, masalah psikologis, depresi, kecemasan dan ketakutan menjalin hubungan antar hubungan.penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara social support terhadap quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu menggunakan random sample. Jumlah subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 140 orang mahasiswa. Skala yang digunakan yaitu skala social support dan skala quarter life crisis. Hasil uji hipotesa penelitian ini adalah dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 (P<0,05) dan nilai r -0,270. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesa tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara social support dan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. Social support is a form of acceptance from a person or group of people for individuals who feel that they are loved, cared for, valued, helped and given support, both emotional, instrumental, reward and information support. Quarter life crisis is a critical period when a person feels anxious and restless because he begins to question the direction and goals of his life, career achievements, financial opportunities, increased competition among team members, psychological problems, depression, anxiety and fear of establishing relationships between relationships. The research used quantitative methods, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social support and quarter life crisis in final year students at Muhammadiyah University of Riau. The data collection technique is using a random sample. The number of subjects in this study were 140 students. The scale used is the social support scale and the quarter life crisis scale. The results of the research hypothesis test are with a significance value of 0.000 (P <0.05) and an r value of -0,270. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it can be interpreted that there is a negative relationship between social support and quarter life crisis in final year students at Muhammadiyah University of Riau.
