Abstrak :
Capung (Odonata) dikenal sebagai serangga yang sensitif terhadap perubahan habitat sehingga berpotensi sebagai bioindikator kualitas lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis struktur komunitas Odonata dan menilai kualitas lingkungan di kawasan Taman Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk Hortikultura Padang Marpoyan Pekanbaru berdasarkan indeks ekologi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Visual Day Flying dan Capture Mark Release Recapture (CMRR) pada beberapa stasiun yang ditentukan secara purposive sampling. Parameter yang dianalisis meliputi Indeks Keanekaragaman Shannon–Wiener (H’), Kekayaan Jenis Relatif Odum (R), Keseragaman (E), Dominansi (C), dan Family Biotic Index (FBI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai H’ sebesar 1,25 (kategori sedang), E sebesar 0,72 (relatif merata), R sebesar 1,21 (rendah), dan C sebesar 0,37 (rendah, tanpa dominansi ekstrem). Nilai FBI sebesar 6,30 termasuk kategori fairly poor (tercemar cukup berat). Famili Libellulidae, khususnya Diplacodes trivialis, mendominasi dan memiliki toleransi tinggi terhadap perubahan lingkungan sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai bioindikator. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, struktur komunitas Odonata mampu menggambarkan kondisi kualitas lingkungan dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bioindikator dalam monitoring serta pengelolaan lingkungan berkelanjutan. Dragonflies (Odonata) are known as insects that are sensitive to habitat changes and therefore have the potential to serve as bioindicators of environmental quality. This study aimed to analyze the community structure of Odonata and assess environmental quality in the Taman Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk Hortikultura Padang Marpoyan, Pekanbaru, based on ecological indices. Sampling was conducted using the Visual Day Flying method and Capture Mark Release Recapture (CMRR) at several stations determined through purposive sampling. The parameters analyzed included the Shannon–Wiener Diversity Index (H’), Odum’s Relative Species Richness Index (R), Evenness Index (E), Dominance Index (C), and Family Biotic Index (FBI). The results showed that the H’ value was 1.25 (moderate category), E was 0.72 (relatively even distribution), R was 1.21 (low), and C was 0.37 (low, indicating no extreme dominance). The FBI value of 6.30 fell into the fairly poor category (moderately polluted). The family Libellulidae, particularly Diplacodes trivialis, was dominant and exhibited high tolerance to environmental changes, indicating its potential as a bioindicator. Based on these findings, the community structure of Odonata is capable of describing environmental quality conditions and can be utilized as a bioindicator for environmental monitoring and sustainable management.
