Abstrak Inggris :
Comprehensive midwifery care was provided to Mrs. M (32 years old, G4P2A1) at the Independent Midwifery Practice (PMB) of Midwife Silvi Ayu, S.Keb in Pekanbaru, covering the pregnancy, labor, newborn, and postpartum periods. At the first visit, Mrs. M was at 33 weeks and 6 days of gestation; she presented with complaints of lower back pain, insomnia, frequent urination, and false contractions, alongside a hemoglobin level of 10.2 g/dL. The care provided included monitoring maternal and fetal conditions during pregnancy, dragon fruit consumption therapy, education on danger signs during pregnancy and labor, birth preparation, labor care (stages I–IV), newborn care, neonatal visits (KN1–KN3), postpartum care, and postpartum visits (KF I–KF IV), with complementary therapies administered from pregnancy through the postpartum period and all care documented using the SOAP method. A case study method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, physical examinations, and document reviews at the practice in Pekanbaru between November and September 2026. The results indicated a physiological course for both pregnancy and labor. The baby was delivered spontaneously with a birth weight of 3,600 g and a length of 48 cm; the infant cried vigorously and exhibited active muscle tone. Early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) and essential newborn care were performed. The first neonatal visit (KN I) proceeded physiologically; however, during the second visit (KN II), a weight loss from 3,600 g to 3,400 g was observed. Following instruction on proper breastfeeding techniques, the third visit (KN III) showed a significant weight increase to 4,200 g. Postpartum visits (KF I–KF IV) proceeded physiologically. Comprehensive midwifery care facilitated the monitoring of maternal and infant health and the detection of potential complications. M is expected to monitor their health, pay attention to reproductive health, and use the chosen contraceptive method according to their needs.
